Schedule &amp; Seasons<\/h3>\n<p>The Tuesday League operates across three annual seasons (approximately 16 weeks each):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Fall:<\/b> September \u2013 December<\/li>\n<li><b>Winter:<\/b> January \u2013 April<\/li>\n<li><b>Spring\/Summer:<\/b> May \u2013 August<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Match Times &amp; Capacity<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Time Slots:<\/b> Matches are held from <b>7:00\u20139:00 PM<\/b> and <b>9:00\u201311:00 PM<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li><b>Scheduling:<\/b> The organizer will rotate teams between early and late time slots to ensure a balanced schedule for all participants.<\/li>\n<li><b>League Size:<\/b> The league is capped at a maximum of <b>28 teams<\/b> (<b>44 teams<\/b> in Spring\/Summer term).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. Match Play &amp; Scoring<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Nightly Play:<\/b> Teams play <b>two matches<\/b> per night.<\/li>\n<li><b>Match Format:<\/b> Each match is <b>Best 2-of-3<\/b> sets.\n<ul>\n<li><b>Sets 1 &amp; 2:<\/b> Played to 25 points (capped at 27).<\/li>\n<li><b>Set 3 (if needed):<\/b> Played to 15 points (no cap).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Self-Officiating:<\/b> Matches are self-refereed. If teams cannot agree on a call, the point is replayed (reserve).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Time Limit &amp; End-of-Slot Protocol<\/h3>\n<p>An audible signal will sound at the end of the designated 2-hour time slot.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Unfinished Sets:<\/b> The team with the most points when the signal sounds wins the set. If tied, teams play one final \u201cgolden point\u201d to determine the winner.<\/li>\n<li><b>Third Set Requirement:<\/b> To win a third set after the signal sounds, a team must have scored at least <b>5 points<\/b>. If neither team has reached 5 points, the match is recorded as a <b>tie<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>5.
