For athletes entering grades 10, 11 and 12. This camp is geared toward all high school athletes, experienced or novice level who want to learn the game and improve their volleyball skills. With this camps focus being on individual skill building, athletes will receive technical instruction on the fundamental volleyball skills including passing, setting, serving, attacking, individual defence, team defence and blocking. Athletes will also be provided with 30 minutes of team play opportunities each day and the final day of camp will feature a full round robin tournament where players get the chance to put their learned skills in a game setting in our EVC \u201cWorld Championship Tournament\u201d. All sessions will be separated into male and female courts if numbers allow. Tournament play will be co-ed. Beginners and experienced players are welcome.<\/p>\n
Athletes should bring the following equipment.<\/p>\n
-Clean indoor Shoes<\/p>\n
-Water bottle<\/p>\n
-Clothing designed for physical activity.<\/p>\n
-Knee pads and ankle braces (Optional)<\/p>\n
Should knee pads, ankle braces, volleyballs or any other\u00a0equipment be required, our pro shop is on site and able to accommodate.<\/p>\n
A Camp T shirt\u00a0will be provided to all registrants on the first day of camp.<\/p>\n
Please be on site 30 minutes early\u00a0on your first day.
