  • Spring/Summer: May – August

2. Match Times & Capacity

  • Time Slots: Matches are held at 5:00–7:00 PM, 7:00–9:00 PM, and 9:00–11:00 PM.
  • Scheduling: The organizer will use a rotating schedule to ensure all teams play in alternating time slots throughout the season.
  • League Size: The league is capped at a maximum of 66 teams.

3. Match Play & Scoring

  • Nightly Play: Teams play two matches per night.
  • Match Format: Each match is a Best 2-of-3 sets.
    • Sets 1 & 2: Played to 25 points (capped at 27).
    • Set 3 (if necessary): Played to 15 points (no cap).
  • Self-Officiating: All matches are self-refereed. If teams disagree on a call, the point is replayed (reserve).

4. Time Limit & End-of-Round Protocol

An audible signal will sound at the end of each 2-hour time slot.
  • In-Progress Sets: The team leading when the signal sounds wins the set. If the score is tied, one deciding point is played.
  • Third Set Exception: To win a third set after the signal sounds, a team must have at least 5 points. If neither team has 5 points, the match is recorded as a tie.

5. Tiered Movement

At the end of each tiering period, teams will move based on total points:
  • Promotion: The top 3 teams in each division move up one tier.
  • Relegation: The bottom 3 teams in each division move down one tier.
